# Group ranking rules

Understand how Ultie ranks teams in a full Round Robin group or pool.

Ultie uses the WFDF ranking criteria for full Round Robin groups and pools.

## Two teams are tied

When exactly two teams are tied, the winner of their head-to-head game ranks higher.

## Three or more teams are tied

Apply the criteria below to all tied teams in order:

1. Wins in games between the tied teams.
2. Fewest forfeited games.
3. Goal difference in games between the tied teams.
4. Goal difference against all common opponents.
5. Average goals scored per game between the tied teams.
6. Average goals scored per game against all common opponents.
7. The WFDF disc-throw tie-break.

If a criterion separates only part of the tied group, restart the process from the first criterion for the teams that remain tied.

If the WFDF disc-throw tie-break is required, the Owner or an authorized Admin records the final order and reason manually.

See Section B3 in the [WFDF Rules of Ultimate 2025–2028 Appendix](https://rules.wfdf.sport/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/WFDF-Rules-of-Ultimate-2025-2028-Appendix-v2.0.pdf).
