# Score after losing connection

Keep a temporary game record when the connection is lost and enter it in Ultie after reconnecting.

Ultie does not synchronize scorekeeping actions made while the connection is unavailable.

## While you are offline

Record each point in order. Include the scoring team and, when stats are enabled, the goal, assist, and point time.

You can use paper or another reliable note that remains available to the scorekeeper.

## After the connection returns

1. Open the game with an authorized scorekeeping role.
2. Enter the missing points in the order they happened.
3. Check the score and any goal or assist details.
4. If the game ended while you were offline, complete it using its regulations or [Finish game](/scorekeeping-and-live-games/finish-game.md#finish-a-game-manually).
