# Pay an event fee

Pay an assigned event fee for yourself or a managed child and understand what the confirmed payment changes.

Use the payment action assigned to the player. The result depends on the event type.

## Tournament and league events

Payment and participation are separate. Paying a fee does not accept a pending team application or add the player to a roster.

1. Open the assigned fee from your global profile or the personal link sent by the Team manager.
2. Review the event, player, amount, and currency.
3. Select **Pay** and complete the payment.
4. Return to Ultie and check that the fee shows **Paid**.

## Hat events

A confirmed online payment accepts the corresponding Hat application.

1. Open the Hat application from your global profile, or open the event page and select **Manage Application**.
2. Open the assigned fee.
3. Review the amount and currency.
4. Select **Pay** and complete the payment.
5. Return to Ultie and check the payment and application status.

If you pay by cash, bank transfer, or another external method, the organizer records the confirmed payment. A confirmed manual payment also accepts the Hat application.

## Pay for a managed child

1. Sign in as the Family manager.
2. Switch to the child profile.
3. Open the child’s assigned event fee.
4. Review the amount and currency, then complete the payment.
5. Check that the fee shows **Paid**.

The Family manager is the payer and receives the receipt in the Family manager’s name.

## If something blocks you

* **The payment failed or was cancelled:** the fee remains unpaid; start a new attempt.
* **No payment action appears:** ask the Team manager or organizer to check the fee assignment.
* **Online payment is unavailable:** ask the organizer which payment method the event uses.
