# Build Hat teams

Create event-only hat teams and arrange accepted players between their rosters.

Hat teams exist only inside their event. They do not belong to clubs.

## Create a Hat team

1. Open **Teams & Rosters**.
2. Select **Create Team**.
3. Enter the team name.
4. Add a logo if needed.
5. Save the team.

## Add players

Only players with the `Accepted` status are available for hat team rosters.

1. Open the team in **Teams & Rosters**.
2. Add the accepted players to its roster.

## Move or remove players

Move a player to another team or remove them from the current roster. Each player can belong to one Hat team.

## Export the result

Use [Export applications and rosters](/organizers-all-event-types/export-applications-rosters.md) to download the current rosters.
