# Build and publish a schedule

Complete schedule setup, adjust generated games, and control the public schedule.

The schedule editor has several linked settings. If this is your first time using it, or none of the available brackets fits your event, open the support chat in the Control Panel.

## Schedule access

**Schedule Manager** provides access only to the complete **Schedule** section.

## Complete schedule setup

Complete these items before building the schedule:

1. Open **Regulations** and add the game regulations used by the event.
2. Open **Venues** and add the places where games will be played.
3. Open **Venue times** and set when each venue is available for games.
4. Open **Add bracket for…** for each division.
5. Filter the ready-made brackets by the number of teams and games when needed.
6. Select **Preview** to check a bracket, then select **Select** to use it.

After every division has a bracket, Ultie generates the schedule.

## Adjust the generated schedule

Use the controls on a game to:

* shift it earlier or later together with all games below it;
* move only that game to another time or field;
* insert a break equal to one game duration, moving the later games down.

Only games that have not started can be moved.

You can return to **Regulations**, **Venues**, or **Brackets** from the schedule sidebar when you need to review the setup.

## Publish the schedule

1. Open **Publish Schedule**.
2. Review the warnings shown for the current schedule.
3. Correct any error that blocks publication.
4. Select **Publish**.

Use **View Published Version** to check the public schedule. Select **Hide from Public Page** when the schedule should no longer be public.
