# Manage event format

Update the playing format, divisions, and roster limits for an event.

## Open event format

1. Open the event.
2. Select **Control Panel**.
3. Open **Settings**.
4. Select **Event Format**.

## Update the format

Review and update the applicable settings:

* **Game Format**
* **Game Field Type**
* **Divisions**
* **Min Players per Team**
* **Max Players per Team**

Select **Save** after making changes.

MVP, stats, and SOTG are configured separately on the same screen.

## Rules & regulations

Open **Rules & Regulations** from event settings or the schedule.

## If something blocks you

* **The event type is not editable:** Ultie controls the event type. Owner and Admin roles cannot change it through self-service.
* **Save is unavailable:** change a value and resolve any highlighted roster limit or division requirement.
