# Create an account

Create a self-managed Ultie account and complete the information required to use it.

## Create your account

1. Open Ultie and select **Sign Up**.
2. Continue with Google or Facebook, or choose email registration.
3. If you register by email, enter your email address and create a password.
4. Complete your first name, last name, country, gender and birthday.
5. Add a profile photo or skip it.
6. Finish the registration.

## What happens next

Your account is ready for player, club and event actions available to you. Club membership and event roster participation are separate.

## If something blocks you

* **Registration is unavailable because of age:** ask an adult to [add and manage a child profile](/players-and-families/manage-child-profiles.md) through their Family manager account.
* **Your email needs confirmation:** use the verification message sent to that address.
* **You already have an account:** sign in or use the available password-recovery route instead of creating a duplicate.
